Aisha

Aisha is the founder and co-curator of Backyart. Her ideas are imbued with intention, uniting us in creating experiences that connect and inspire. She is a dedicated leader and brewing ancient herbal tea during meetings is standard practice. Aisha’s career in Film and TV brings flair, finesse and professionalism to Backyart. A special mix of advocate, activist and alchemist, Aisha works to ensure our events are inclusive and accessible.

Bec

Bec Levy (Shady Lady) is our music curator and social media coordinator. Living her DJ life darting between Sydney and Amsterdam she is constantly scouring for new sounds. When it comes to Backyart she searches through the crevices and corners of Sydney for musicians and DJs that align with each unique gallery space. As the media coordinator she makes our social channels pop and lock with colour 'charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent'.

Zoe

Zoe is co-curator and cultural producer. As a multi-skilled shape-shifter, it’s hard to know just how many pies Zoe has her fingers in, and yet she accomplishes the impossible with charm and a cheeky smile. Her experience in social space design and production underpin her approach in splicing unconventional spaces and wild ideas with her love for community and the arts. A bush ballerina of endless entreprenuerlism, Zoe also drives social enterprise, Muralisto.
